Today, I want to talk about the forgotten man. One man has been forgotten and put back on a shelf in a book, this
man's name is George Washington Carver, the Professor at the Tuskegee Institute, where he developed many
products by using the simple peanut, forgotten man.

Another such man is Paul Robertson, a great opera singer who was labeled a communist, and was forced to flee this
country in shame and disgrace, a forgotten man.

Another such man, Malcom X, who found the truth within the Muslim religion, and that is there is no black Muslim,
white Muslim, Indian Muslim, and no political objective as stated by many of his counterparts.

Another man forgotten today is Martin Luther King. I guess you say "I know the Bishop's crazy now." No, I am not.
Step out into your community, ask the young men and women who he was? And they will state, he was a Civil Rights
Activist. But what about the man, his purpose, his objective, and his production to this country, and they cannot
answer, another forgotten man.

James Brown (Singer), a man that grew up on the streets of Augusta, Georgia, who shined shoes for a living, who
went to prison at a young age and became a boxer. The street, that he shined shoes on bears his name, and
through his records, he invoked pride within the African-American community. Some of the songs to be remembered
"I'm Black and I'm Proud", "I Don't Want You to Give Me Nothing, Open up the Door and I'll Get it Myself", "Soul
Power", "King Heron", and many other such songs. He opened the doors for many young black talented Americans,
yet he's a forgotten man. Who knows the man?

The Honorable Thurgood Marshall, who was the first African-American to be appointed to the United States Supreme
Court. One of his most famous cases involved Brown v. The Board of Education, which sent a message to this
country that these schools must be desegregated. Many of his legal briefs are held to the most high esteemed in the
court system today. A forgotten man. Who knows the man?

Jackie Wilson, a pioneer in Rhythm and Blues, for those younger than fifty, one of his songs was " Lonely Tear
Drops". Yet, he was left in a nursing home, to waste away. Yet, we say we remember him every time we play his
songs.

Last but not least, Jesus The Christ, who was born in an Ox stall, wrapped in rags that the animals were wiped down
with because there was no room for him in the inn. Who, as a young child baffled the scribes and the Pharisees, who
were the law keepers at the time, with his doctrine and his wisdom. Who battled with Satan on his own turf and stated,
"Thou shalt serve the Lord God and only Him shall thy serve." Who turned water into wine, who raised Lazarus from
the dead, who cast out demons, who walked on water and calmed the raging sea, who fed the thousands with two fish
and five loaves, who was crucified because of jealousy, but yet, death could not control him. Who set men and
women free from the penalty of sin and death, who gave up the Ghost, that we might receive the Holy Ghost, who
made the corruptible to in corruption, who put mortality to in mortality, who gave us a tabernacle not made with
hands, that we may be able to spend eternity in heaven, who was whipped all night long, and by His stripes, we are all
healed. Yes, He stated " My Father and I are one." Now, you want to take God out of everything .

Ladies and Gentlemen, Jesus was a Son of God, who came in the flesh, to show us that we can triumph over the
flesh, he came in a manly form, that we may recognize Him, but we know God is a spirit, and all true believers, will
worship Him in spirit and in truth. Yes, Jesus The Christ is the most forgotten man  to ever walk the earth.

As a consecrated Bishop, a carrier of God's word, I am so sorry to see our children, our Christian leaders, our
politicians, our administrators, judges, lawyers, and lay persons, stray away from the truth. A forgotten man.(Jesus)
