Are You Betraying God?

After Jesus came out of the wilderness being tempted of the devil, he began to choose his disciples. As you know,
there were twelve of them. The one that I'm speaking of today is Judas Iscariot, the betrayer, the son of predition.
Jesus did not choose Judas. Judas approached Jesus and asked can I be your disciple. Jesus knew his heart and
his purpose for being on earth, and said come.

Judas began as a typical disciple learning and earning the right to carry the purse of the disciples which was used
to feed the poor.

There was a group of men who had the intent to overthrow the Roman leadership and they approached Judas
concerning there master's power. But Jesus refused to be a part of any overthrowing of leadership other than the
Devils.

Then the Scribes and Pharisees became interested because of his strange doctrine, power and knowledge. They
sought to trap Jesus and could not. So, they sought an inside source and came up with Judas who sold our master
out for thirty pieces of silver and as a result of that hung himself and w
ent straight to hell.

Sisters and brothers, I appeal to you that you keep God's commandments, love ye one another as I have loved
you. This is a great commandment, but you still have that sinful nature that betrays God. You must be born again.
Not of flesh and blood but of the spirit of the living God and be engulfed in the Holy Ghost. Every time you lie, you
betray God. Every time you steal, you betray God. Every time you commit adultery, you betray God. Every time
you gossip, you betray God. Every time you withhold your tithes and offerings, you betray God.

Sisters and brothers, Are You Betraying God? Check yourself. The only way to do that, study to show yourself
approved unto God. A workman that needth not to be ashamed, but rightly dividing the word of truth.
