Does it Make You Feel Good?
When you got up this morning, out of a nice, warm bed, and was able to shower, shave, dress in the modern-day
apparel, and knowing that someone else got up out of a cardboard box on the street and journeyed into some public
bathroom (bus station) to wash under their arms and begin their day. Does that make you feel good?
You eat a hearty breakfast, sitting at a table with plates settings, glasses of orange juice, grits, toast, eggs, and
sausage, etc while some person scrounges through garbage cans behind restaurants or stores, looking for their
breakfast. Does that make you feel good?
You get in a car and go to work, and earn a huge salary, and enjoy the pleasant surroundings of the workplace,
while someone grabs a tin can, stands on the corner, and beg for a little change that they may eat or support a habit.
Does that make you feel good?
You work all week long, able to change your clothing each day, and return home and slip into a nice pair of pajamas,
while someone walks all week long in the same clothes, and at night, seek a place to unfold their cardboard box to
sleep in. Does that make you feel good?
On Sunday morning, we start off by heading to a church, all spiffy and sanctimonious, and pass right by some of the
individuals that I have spoken of, and turn our head the other way. Does that make you feel good?
This country burns stockpiles of food, yet this government scorns those that are less fortunate, those that rely on
public assistance, SSI, and disability payments. Does that make you feel good?
Veterans go off to war, some lose their lives, some are dismembered, some are psychologically damaged, yet some
of these soldiers are not even able to get their Veteran's Rights. Does that make you feel good?
Drugs are prevalent in every city, in every town, in every community, yet we have drug enforcement officers on the
take, police officers taking and redistributing drugs in our communities. Does that make you feel good?
Schools are failing its students, parents are neglecting their children, social programs are inadequate, the job market
is next to non-existent, faith has been lost, hope has been depleted. Does that make you feel good?
God's Word has been trampled upon, attempts have been made to change the Word of God. Christians are being
persecuted all over the world. Pastors are selling their congregations. Evangelists are not reaching the highways and
byways. Teachers are turning from the truth. Apostles have lost their way, yet the true prophets are crying out, and
receiving a deaf ear. Does that make you feel good?
Sisters and brothers, I wrote to you on last week, regarding the subject God is Talking, Have You Been Listening.
Fires are now raging in San Bernardino, California. Winds are up to 50 miles an hour, and the temperature is in the
90s. It's hard to stop a fire with those existing conditions. More cases of the swine flu has been discovered. God truly
is asking this question, does it make you happy to receive His Wrath and Judgment?
