As I reflect on my childhood on a farm in the rural county of Edgefield, I remember my grandmother having two
mules. Their names were Grey and Ida. Grey was as her name stated, Ida was a brown mule. We used these mules
for plowing and carrying supplies to where the crops were to be planted.

I guess you say "Where are you going with this Bishop?" God's Word states "I take the simple to confound the wise."

I would hook up these mules to a 2-horse wagon, loaded with 200-pound bags of fertilizer, and what else was
needed. These mules would squat together under the heavy load and pull together. By them pulling together, the
weight was equally distributed. So much for that.

What I want to address today is our duties as Christians. The first thing we need to look at, is our love for one
another. The second thing we need to look at is our administration. And third, but not last, is our treatment of God's
people.

A few days ago, I met a young man at a Post Office, and I stated to him "I see the Light of Christ upon you." And he
said "Yes, I am a Christian." I stated "Well maybe you would like me to send some Scriptures from the Bible as I do
others as a part of my Evangelistic Outreach?" He said "Yes, please do." I began to send him Scriptures. A week
later, he stated "Please remove me from your email address, for I have my Pastor's teaching." So, I removed him.

God's Word is God's Word, and the Bible tells me in 2 Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by the inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness."

I began to review this young man's request, and I said unto myself "We are not pulling together." God's Word has a
purpose, that purpose to make man clean, as it states in Ephesians 5:26, "That he might sanctify and cleanse it (us)
with the washing of water by the word."

When we as Christians do not want to hear the Word from others, we are truly not pulling together. In the John
17:20, Jesus prayed for us stating "Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me
through their word." So this young man's pastor received the Word and passed it on to this young man, yet he is not
willing to receive from another. "Not Pulling Together."

Sisters and Brothers in Christ, the Word of God is for everyone, it will convict some, transform others, and condemn
those that do not believe. We must pull together for we are living in perilous times. Churches have turned from the
truth and are believing in fables. They are professing themselves to be wise, but they are fools. The Word of the
God says "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."

I do hope that those that read this article will realize that I am not writing for any personal glory, I am writing in
accordance to Matthew 28:19-20 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe  all things whatsoever I have commanded you:
and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world, Amen."

Remember, he that wants to be the greatest, must be servant unto them all. That's pulling together.
